What is a Grant?

Grants are funds offered by the US Government, corporations, and public foundations to be used for specific projects that solve societal problems &/or challenges. Grants do not need to be paid back if they are used to fund the project for which they were allocated.
USGG (US Government Grants), a partner of PEG, is a full service grant consulting company offering proposal writing services, prospect research, grant writing training, staff development, and motivational speaking. Our primary clients are corporations, national associations, nonprofits, governments, schools, colleges, universities, healthcare organizations, and Native American tribes. Our signature workshop called Win More Grants is a two day workshop that trains organizations and communities how to find, write and win more grants. We currently offer one program for individuals called Grant Writng as a Career. |
Hawaiian-interests Organizations & Non-profits Underwriting (HONU) Grants WorkshopMāhealani Yamashita coordinated TWO, one-day grant writing workshops held on Kaua`i. It was administered by nationally-recognized facilitator, Beverly Santicola. The first day was for adults, and the second day was for youth. With an attendance of over 35 adult community leaders and 20 youth leaders, over 13 local, non-profit organizations, and schools were represented.
